Delete Your Freecost Account
Last Updated: June 21, 2026
Freecost (operated by Brobata, LLC) lets you delete your account and associated personal data at any time. You can do it yourself in the app, or ask us to do it for you.
Delete it yourself (fastest)
In the Freecost app — on the web or on your phone:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
On the web you can go straight to freefoodcost.com/settings. Deletion takes effect immediately: your sign-in is disabled and your access is removed right away.
Or ask us to delete it
Email [email protected]from the address on your account (or tell us the account email) with the subject “Delete my account.” We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your ability to sign in (your login is permanently disabled).
- Your personal profile information — name and email — is removed or anonymized.
- Your sign-in identities (e.g. email/password credentials) are removed.
What may be retained
- Shared kitchen data.Ingredients, recipes, menu items, vendors, and invoices belong to the kitchen (location), which may have other members. That operational data stays with the kitchen so your teammates aren't left without it — but it's no longer linked to your personal identity. If you own a kitchen and want its data removed too, say so in your request.
- Anonymized, aggregated metrics that cannot identify you or your business (counts and averages used to improve the product).
- Limited records we're legally required to keep (for example, security or fraud-prevention logs), retained only as long as the law requires and then deleted.
